OBJECTIVES

This course presents the basic technologies of networks. It describes in detail the communication protocols of all layers of the Internet Network. The technical aspects concerning the transmission media as well as the initial configuration of the equipment will be discussed in the course.

This course introduces basic techniques for switching and wireless routing aspects. It focuses on configuring Cisco networking equipment, managing the operating system and configuring protocols. Wired and wireless switching aspects will also be presented as well as the configuration of switches and access points.
This course prepares for the CCNA2 v7.0 academic certification (Cisco Certified Network Academy).
